PURPOSE
The purpose of the Human Resource Department is to provide quality professional services to attract, develop, motivate, and retain a talented and diverse workforce.

The authority to establish a Human Resource Department is given to the Town Manager in the Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual of the Town.

MISSION
The Human Resource Department is committed to serving the citizens of Carolina Beach by being a strategic partner to town management. We provide comprehensive human resource services and guidance in the development, implementation, and equitable administration of policies and procedures, while fostering a positive and safe work environment.
