The Town of Carolina Beach follows North Carolina General Statute § 143-129: Procedure for letting of public contracts.  CLICK HERE for detailed information regarding that statute.

Please note that all contractors and subcontractors participating in the formal bid process with the Town of Carolina Beach must comply with the requirements of Article 2, Chapter 64 of the North Carolina General Statutes, "Verification of Work Authorization."  CLICK HERE for more details.  All contractors must complete and return a notarized E-Verify Form with any bids or proposals.

LIFEGUARD STAND REBUILD
This project will require the selected contractor(s) to build beach Lifeguard Stands. There are eighteen Lifeguard stands that will need to be built. The Town of Carolina Beach is requesting all eighteen lifeguard stands be rebuilt. Contractors must bid on rebuilding all eighteen stands, contractor submitting bids need to understand, and use the established guidelines listed in the scope of work.

 
Scope of Work:

  • Build eighteen Lifeguard Stands
  • Each of the eighteen stands will be bid as a lump sum amount for all.
  • Stands shall be built to replicate conceptional design provided in packet.
