• All vessels on mooring and in Town slips must have a reservation.
• Reservations are made on Dockwa.com- Carolina Beach Municipal Marina
• If you will be away from your boat for more than 24 hours, you will need to make arrangements with the Harbor Master.

• All vessels must check in with Harbor Master and give contact information.
• No vessel is to be unattended for more than 24 hours.
• Anchorage is allowed only in areas north of the mooring field.
• Vessel must be 100’ from other boats, the navigation channel, mooring field, and Pierhead Line.
• Vessel must display proper anchor light.
• Occupants must provide Harbor Master proof of registration.
• Occupants must provide Harbor Master pump out log when requested.
• The Carolina Beach Harbor is a difficult anchorage, as it gets a large deposit of sediment from the Cape Fear River. The bottom is described as 6’ of mayonnaise. Mariners are advised to anchor with extreme caution. Vessels dragging anchor will not be tolerated and will be advised to leave the Harbor.
• Max stay: 10 days in 90 days on anchor, 10 days in 90 days on mooring, and 10 days in 90 days in Municipal Marina slip.

The Town of Carolina Beach offers two pump-out facilities in the Municipal Marina at the south end of the Harbor.  One is located at the center transient slip on the south dock.  The other is located at the north end of the west dock.  For assistance, please contact the Harbor Master.
