The Town of Carolina Beach's main office/Town Hall is located at 1121 N. Lake Park Blvd. in Carolina Beach. Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (except on holidays).

The Town of Carolina Beach provides police and fire protection, maintains streets, and operates a water and sanitary sewer system. Residential and commercial sanitation service is contracted to a private waste disposal system, Waste Industries. Recycling is also contracted to Waste Industries.

POLICE DEPARTMENT (Non-Emergency/Station Number)..... (910) 452-6120

This number is for Non-Emergency calls that need to have an officer dispatched to a location, but that is not related to an active crime or emergency situation. Example: Dogs on the Beach.

FIRE DEPARTMENT (Non-Emergency/Station Number)..... (910) 458-2985

This number is for Non-Emergency calls directly to the fire station. Example: Outside burn pile questions.

WATER DEPARTMENT - On-Call Technician (after hours)..... (910) 465-0377

This number is for after hours emergencies directly to the water well/supply technician. Example: Water tastes funny, odor etc.

WATER/SEWER DEPARTMENT - On-Call Technician (after hours)..... (910) 465-0376

This number is for after hours water and sewer emergencies. Examples: no water; water leaks in yard; sewer backup in home or yard; port-a-johns in Freeman park are dirty/out of toilet paper.

STORMWATER DEPARTMENT - On-Call Technician (after hours)..... (910) 465-0593

This number is for after hours flooding issues. Example: There is water overflowing the ditch on my street.

ENVIRONMENTAL DEPARTMENT - On-Call Technician (after hours).... (910) 465-0520

This number is for after hours issues related to public facilities, municipal waste or public works issues. Example: public bathrooms are locked; trash is overflowing at beach access; trash piled up at beach access; pothole exists at Bridge Barrier Rd/Spencer Farlow Dr.

This number is only monitored Monday – Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM. For emergencies or immediate assistance, please contact the Police Department.

Construction behind Town Hall has resulted in fumes from the equipment entering the building. We will closing Town Hall today, 11/14, at 3:30PM and expect to reopen for normal business hours tomorrow, 11/15.

King Tides are expected to begin today, Thursday, November 14th, and last through Monday, November 18th. A full moon will occur during this time, increasing the possibility of flooding on roads and other areas. Locations most often affected include Canal Drive, Florida Avenue, Carolina Beach Avenue North, and other low-lying areas. Town officials may close roads due to flooding. Please use caution and obey traffic signs and barriers. Avoid walking or driving in flooded areas; salt water can be detrimental to your vehicle, and could contain debris. CB Police Officers will issue citations to anyone driving around barricades and through flooded areas.

As the daylight hours get shorter and deer become more active, the N.C. Department of Transportation is reminding drivers to stay alert and pay extra attention. To keep you and your family safe, remember to: • Slow down in posted deer crossing areas and heavily wooded areas, especially during the late afternoon or early evening; • Don’t swerve to avoid a collision. This could cause you to lose control or veer into oncoming traffic; and • Deer often travel in groups, so assume if one crosses the road in front of you there may be others following.
