- New Hanover County District Attorney's Office seeks justice by ensuring that victim's rights and the public's safety are the priority through fair and equal enforcement of the criminal laws. New Hanover County is in District 5 and Ben David serves as our county's District Attorney.

- North Carolina Harm Reduction Coalition NCHRC is a comprehensive harm reduction program. NCHRC engages in grassroots advocacy, resource development, coalition building and direct services for people impacted by drug use, sex work, overdose, gender, STIs, HIV and hepatitis. NCHRC also provides resources and support to the law enforcement, public health and provider communities.

- Crisis Services for New Hanover County are managed by: Trillium Health Resources.
Trillium Health Resources Access Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customer Service Specialists will assist you to find a crisis provider that is well-matched with your needs. Call toll-free at 877-685-2415. If you already have a service provider, call them first. Providers who know you are usually best prepared to assist you in a crisis.
- Have Support Come to You - Crisis situations are often best resolved at home. Mobile Crisis Teams are available 24 hours a day in all counties. Professional counselors will speak with you and your family during a visit. They have an average response time of 2 hours. This service is provided by: RHA Behavioral Health Services at 844-709-4997.
- Go To A Crisis Center - Many counties have a specialized crisis center where you can walk in for a crisis assessment and referrals to additional services. Appointments are not needed. The crisis center in our county is provided by:

- North Carolina Victim Assistance Network is available for assistance you if you are a victim of a crime.
- NC SAVAN, is a criminal justice information-sharing system that supports automated victim notification. NC SAVAN operates a 24-hour toll-free automated offender information and notification service. Individuals may call the toll-free number, 877-NC SAVAN, (877) 627-2826, to learn about an offender's status, to register for offender notification or to learn about victim assistance resources in their area.
- New Hanover County Victim/Witness Program The District Attorney's Office has assembled a team of Victim Witness Assistants to assist victims and their families during their involvement with the criminal court process.
- Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. promotes choices for healthier lives and safer communities by providing a continuum of professional services for prevention, crisis intervention, sexual assault victims, criminal justice alternatives, and treatment of substance use and mental health disorders.
- Wilmington Domestic Violence Shelter For 28-years, Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc. has empowered victims and their families to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing shelter and on-going support services, as well as public awareness and prevention programs.
- CoastalCare manages and oversees mental health, intellectual/developmental disability and substance use services for residents of New Hanover county.
- New Hanover County Senior Resource Center and Special Needs The Registry is a computer list of individuals who live in New Hanover County and have special physical, medical or functional disabilities that would place them at higher risk in an emergency event such as a hurricane.
- The National Human Trafficking Resource Center is a national hotline available 24/7 via phone or texts in regards to reporting a tip, request training or connect with anti-trafficking services in your area. It is estimated that 14,500 to 17,500 people, primarily women and children, are trafficked to the U.S. annually.
- Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is committed to protecting the public and ensuring that victim rights are observed. Once someone is placed in the custody of ICE the Victim Notification Program will provide information to victims and witnesses who register to be notified.

The AWARE Foundation is a national 501(c)(3) organization that works tirelessly with families and law enforcement agencies on behalf of missing and endangered persons. Based in Virginia, AWARE helps spread the word about missing loved ones nationwide through law enforcement agencies, search and rescue organizations, traditional media and social media.
National Center for Missing and Endangered, Inc. is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) which is home based in Northampton County, North Carolina. They work tirelessly to raise awareness as well as education on missing person cases, along with missing cases which involve Human and Sex Trafficking. Assisting law enforcement they have become very successful at bringing home the missing as well as recovering remains of the missing. NCME takes great pride in working with families, all levels of law enforcement and certified Search and Rescue/Recovery agencies across the country.
